As a criminal defense lawyer, Allen Trapp represents clients in Carrollton, Dallas, Villa Rica, LaGrange, Cedartown, and surrounding areas in West Georgia.
Allen Trapp has been honored by his peers (including other criminal attorneys) as a Super Lawyer in both 2009 and 2010. He was also named DUI Lawyer of the Year in 2005.
He has appeared on national television shows including Dateline NBC and CNN Talk Back Live and has been interviewed by the Atlanta media on dozens of occasions. With over twenty years of experience in the courtrooms of West Georgia, he has tried literally hundreds of cases including murder, arson, drug charges, and DUI.
He has been invited to speak at defense seminars across the country and has served on the faculty of events in Wyoming, Massachusetts, Texas, and Arizona in the past few years. Even law enforcement agencies seek him out for presentations. He is currently serving as vice president of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and in 2008 he was chosen as the Georgia Delegate to the National College for DUI Defense.
